Most people contact small claims advisor by telephone. If that works best for you, feel free to call any time. The advisor spends most of the day on the phone, so there is a good chance that your call will go to voicemail. However, we are committed to responding to each and every call. Most of the time, your call will be returned on the same day--often in just a few minutes. But every call will be returned by the next business day.Advisors are avaialble on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (except when they are conducting in-person clinics and drop-in consultatons at the Stanislaus County Mediation Center or the Floyd Avenue Traffic/Small Claims Court.
If your call goes to voicemail, just leave your name and telephone number. To be safe, it makes sense to repeat the phone number—especially if you're calling from a cell phone. You don't need to leave a detailed message. The advisor would rather speak directly with you about your case.
